BAA BISHOP’S STORTFORD SQUASH FESTIVAL
INFORMATION SHEET FOR PLAYERS
The
Bishop’s Stortford Squash Club would like to
take this opportunity to welcome you all and
thank you for entering the BAA Bishop’s
Stortford Squash Festival. Please take a few
minutes to read the following information, which
we hope, will be of use to you and help make
your tournament more enjoyable.
Playing times
Please arrive at
least half an hour before your first match and
sign in at the tournament desk. Please also
check carefully the court you have been
allocated for each of your games and make sure
you are ready to play at the given match time.
Club Shop
Squash equipment
will be available from the club shop throughout
the event.
Racket Stringing
A racket
stringing service is available at the club
throughout the event; please ask at the
tournament desk or one of our volunteers for
details.
Refreshments
Our licensed bar
will be open for liquid refreshments throughout
the tournament serving tea and coffee, soft
drinks and light snacks etc. It would be
appreciated if you could please return your
empty glasses to the bar.

Photography
We shall be taking photographs
throughout the event for possible use on our
website and other promotional material. If you
do not want to be included in any of these
pictures, please notify one of our organizers
and your wishes will be respected.
PSA Event
We have a
Professional Squash World Ranking Tournament
running alongside the festival with some of the
world’s top players taking part. There will be
plenty of opportunites to meet the players and
watch them compete throughout the week. Schedule
as follows:

August- PSA Qualifying Round 1 4pm- 8pm

August- PSA Qualifying Round 2 6pm-8pm

August- PSA Round 1 6pm-10pm

August- PSA Quarter Finals 8pm-10pm

August- PSA Semi Finals 8pm-10pm

Saturday 25th
August- PSA FINAL 6.30pm
TICKET ONLY £10
Tickets are
available for the semi finals and final from the
club throughout the week.

Bishops Stortford is located
approximately 5 miles from the M11 Junction 8,
which is accessible from both the north and
south.
On leaving the motorway, take the
exit signposted A120 Bishops Stortford/Puckeridge.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd
exit (straight ahead) onto the A120. (DO NOT
TAKE THE FIRST LEFT EXIT TO BISHOPS STORTFORD).
At the second roundabout take the
2nd exit (straight ahead) onto the
A120 Puckeridge. (AGAIN DO NOT TAKE THE FIRST
LEFT EXIT TO BISHOPS STORTFORD).
At the third roundabout take the
1st exit signposted Bishops Stortford
West, Town Centre onto the A1250 Hadham Road.
The Bishops Stortford Squash Club
can be found on the left next to the Rugby Club
immediately after the mini roundabout.
